Regnum Christi NA

LAY CONSECRATED MEN

We are men who have answered a call to totally surrender our lives to God in Regnum Christi, striving to radiate Christ from within the culture as apostles in the social and professional world, making it a place of encounter with God.

Our mission is to make the Kingdom of Christ present in the hearts of people and in society as Lay Consecrated Men.

By making private vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, we offer our entire lives to Jesus. Through our lay consecration, we want to show that Jesus fills life with meaning and joy and is available to everyone. Like him and with him, each one of us also feels like just a brother among all men. Like the Good Samaritan, we dedicate our lives to the service of people in the midst of the world.

Being an apostle in Regnum Christi as
a Lay Consecrated Man

We invite people to discover that Jesus walks beside them as their friend.

We gather people around Christ and help them discover their vocation and mission.

We accompany young people and adults in their human, spiritual, and intellectual formation, so that they can be creative apostles with personal initiative.

We build networks of people who initiate projects responding to the needs of evangelization in the social and professional fields.

CONFIGURING OURSELVES TO CHRIST, LIVING AS HIS APOSTLES

Our vocational and formative path

The goal of our formation is transformation in Christ, model of the lay consecrated man who seeks to bear witness in the world to the new life of the Kingdom of God. We are formed in preparation to live as apostles, each according to their own personal gifts.

Discernment Course
3 to 4 week long period aimed at understanding and discerning a vocational call as well as acquiring a deeper knowledge of the lay consecrated vocation within Regnum Christi.
Candidacy

This stage has as its goal: attaining a deeper knowledge of the consecrated vocation in Regnum Christi, acquiring the habits associated with the vocation, and a strengthening of the decision to follow Christ in this way.

The Initial Formation stage spans two years: the first year is exclusively set aside for human and spiritual formation, while the second year is dedicated also to academic and apostolic activities.

First Temporary Vows

After the Initial Formation stage, first temporary vows are made for three years. During this stage, lay consecrated men in formation continue the professional formation and the apostolic activities that have been assigned to them.

The First Vows period has as its aim a deeper discernment and preparation for final vows.

Second Temporary Vows

Vows are taken for an additional three years.
Studies and full time apostolic activity continued. This is the final period of discernment before taking Final Vows.

Final Vows & Apostolic Life

Once the period of temporary vows is complete, the consecrated can be admitted to the profession of final vows. In this stage, the consecrated man devotes himself to full time apostolic activities and ongoing pastoral and professional formation.
